This is part of the Momentary Comfort series in which characters from the Box are relaxing prior to the events of the first book. While most of this series takes place a day or two prior, this piece is from 9 months earlier when Shannon was at the height of her popularity and everything seemed like it was going her way. She had a rich boyfriend who loved and worshipped her. She had friends that thoughts he was super cool and wanted to be in her shadow. If she only knew then how things would change, how everything she believed was about to come crashing down around her.
