"Lou Ann Ramsey, has had a rough life bouncing from foster home to foster home. After running away from her latest foster home, she hid away in the attic of Alex Rikes, a boy she hardly knew but felt a connection to. While the house was empty she would sneak into Alex's room, read his books and listen to his music. She would lay on his bed dreaming. Her only real escape from a world in which she felt like she no longer belonged. Of a far off place full of friends, family and adventure. Some times dreams do come true, just not in the ways you expect. "
