Catwoman Interrupted

Over the last three years I have worked hard on my style and I feel like I've experienced the most growth in my art since college. With that in mind I wanted to take an old piece I liked and rework it with I know now. I was a fan of the original Catwoman piece but it was pretty plain since I was nervous to create backgrounds and unsure of myself when it comes to clothing materials.

For the new piece I wanted to challenge myself more. This is my first real experience working with leather. I want to give a shout out to Stjepan Sejic as recent work with leather was inspiring and made me think of reflections on shiny leather. Also, Jim Lee was my greatest influence as young artist so I wanted my Superman to capture his time with the character. I hope you like it, I surely do.
