AI Art base using Midjourney
Had a lot of fun with this piece as a I wanted to create a pirate captain with the look and personality of Jason Momoa. Now this is the first time I started with AI as a base as I wanted to play with it. However, like most AI art in the early stages it only remotely had wanted I wanted but it was enough to trigger my mind and look for details I can build off of. This was basically a total re-work as I built it out to match the style of my recent pirate pieces.
I do think AI has a way to help trigger imagination with the use of the words that you want your art to represent. However, I think the art that triggers emotion and feeling will always come from the heart of a living breathing artist.
